Boeing Bookings
Although reservations for the Boeing 737 will not open until July 15 a number of persons in Christchurch already have seats on the aircraft. A spokesman for the National Airways Corporation said that they were mainly businessmen who, without stipulating Boeing travel, had made bookings for October onwards. One man in Wellington had asked to be on the first flight of the new aircraft, regardless of its destination. Because of an administrative error in Wellington it had been announced 'that reservations on ’he Boeing would open on Tuesday, I the spokesman said.
