Friesians Sell To $430

An average of 3243.30 was obtained tor 21 of 24 pedigree Friesian heifers and cows offered for Mr N. N. Mason, of Okelns Bay, at the Addington salesyards yesterday. The top Srice for heifers was 3430, and :ere was another sale at 8400. Most of the cattle went to local buyers, other sales being made to Hastings, Blenheim and Mosglel, Four of five pedigree bulls averaged 3181.25, the top price being 3300. A three-year-old was passed at 3425. The selling agents were the New Zealand Farmers’ Cooperative Association of Canterbury, Ltd. and Dalgety and Now Zealand Loan, Ltd.
