Flat-Earth Doubter

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON. July 5.

Mr Samuel Shenton does not believe Mr Alec Rose sailed round the world. It is not possible, Mr Shenton said, according to the London “Daily Mirror”. Mr Shenton is secretary, of the International Flat Earth Research Society. He said that Mr Rose, who completed his voyage yesterday, “has merely sailed his boat round the edge of the saucer which is, in fact, our flat earth.

“He has circumnavigated this with his compass always pointing north.” The flat earth society has about 100 members upon the earth. It even claims some in the United States space complex at Cape Kennedy, Florida.
