N.Z. Students Win Again

MELBOURNE. The touring New Zealand Universities athletics team on Saturday beat a strong combined Victorian Universities side, 93-69. The Kiwis had defeated Monash University, 39-33, last Wednesday, The best of the New Zealand performances were: W. Speirs. 6ft 4in high jump and 47ft 7iin triple jump: Lorraine Tong, 12.2 sec 100 metres, and 25.25ec 200 metres; J.. Le Grice, 14min 41.6 sec 5000 metres: Pru Cochrane, 12 Isec 80 metres hurdles; P. Crawford. 46ft B)in shot putt and 163 ft 2in discus: Linda Longman, 4ft Ilin high jump; and Gall Hannan. 39ft 94in shot putt. New Zealand won the men s 4 x 400 metre relay in 3min 21SCC.
