AIRCRAFT EXPORT
Firm Seeks Loan (N.Z. Press Association; HAMILTON. May 12. A light aircraft manufacturing company in Hamilton has applied to the Development Finance Corporation for a “substantial loan” to develop its export markets. The general manager of Aero Engines Services, Ltd (Mr A. M. Coleman) said the assistance would enable his firm to double its output, from one aircraft a fortnight to one a week. The firm has already exported five Airtourer 115 aircraft and orders are in hand for several more, which could tax the firm's capabilities unless finance from the corooration were made available. The aircraft is described as the only fully aerobatic lowwinged training aircraft in the Western world.
