BASKETBALL SELECTORS
Hrs O. Shannahan and Miss C. Brown were re-elected Canterbury selectors at a management committee meeting of the Canterbury Basketball Association last evening. Mrs Shannahan has served several terms as a selector, the first in 1951. Miss Brown, a Canterbury representative from 1956 to 1965, and captain in the last three years, served her first term last year.
The third selector, Mrs T. Southam, was not available for re-election.
Result Changed.— The result of the third grade (section 7) game between Shirley-Methodist and Shirley-North was changed to a win by default for ShirleyMethodist. Shirley-North arrived at least five minutes late but the game was allowed to proceed and the late-arrivers won, 15-10.
Back Again.— Kaikoura was accepted back as a sub-associa-tion of the Canterbury as solution. *
