Anti-War Protests
(N.Z P A.-Reuter —Copyright? NEW YORK, April 20. Organisations opposing the Vietnam war today launched a week of activities they hope will bring the biggest popular call so far for a halt to the war. The climax of the demonstrations will be rallies in 17 major cities, including New York, Washington and Chicago next Saturday. Organisers said the weeklong drive against the war was probably the biggest to whip up support for their campaign.
