Driving Sought In Schools
(N 2. Press Association) GISBORNE, April 19. It was hoped that driving tuition would become established as part of secondary school curricula during the next few years, the president of the Auckland Automobile Association (Mr J. B. Horrocks) said last night Mr Horrocks said at present the president of the New Zealand Automobile Association was trying to arrange a meeting with the Government and Department of Education heads as a result of the successful pilot scheme which has been conducted at Avondale College, Auckland, with 20 pupils.
