Tournament Postponed
Major golf tournaments in Christchurch have suffered in the wintry weather of the last week or two. The Christchurch Club's Easter tournament had to be abandoned, and now the Waitiklri ladles' club has found it necessary to postpone the Canterbury 54-hole stroke championship, which was set down for tomorrow and Wednesday. Waitlktrl suffered quite badly in the recent storm, and although there were 86 members en the course at a working bee a week ago. the staff has had a difficult time restoring the course to order. New it Is very wet end the club, wisely, has decided to give the course, end the steff, a further opportunity to recover.
