$100,000 For Grants
About 8100,000 should be, available for grants from theSutherland Self-Help Trust I this year, the secretary of the trust board (Mr L. W. Mowat) said on Friday. Applications from religious, charitable and educational organisations were invited and should be made on the special forms obtainable from the secretary of the trust at P.O. Box 193, Wellington, Mr Mowat said. Applications must be returned by June 30 Mr Mowat emphasised that the board preferred to make grants to a limited number of specific projects rather than making a wide distribution for general purposes.
