Eruption Of Volcano

The 8000 ft Mayon volcano, about 200 miles south-east of Manila, began erupting this morning, sending a giant cloud of steam into the sky as seismograph machines recorded harmonic tremors, it was announced in Manila. Press reports from Legaspi! City, in Albay province where the volcano is visible,! said authorities had begun evacuating people living at the foot of the vplcano. Mayon’s worst eruption took place in 1814 when 1200 people were reportedly , killed. 1
