Sir, —I wonder how many of those who have written criticising Mr Kirk live ip, or have anything to do with, the areas which were flooded. He obviously visited the flooded and damaged parts with the intention of helping where he could, and advising others. There will be many who will at a later date record their satisfaction with the manner in which he interested himself in their proYours, etc., P. J. RILEY. April 18, 1968.
