Eggs
Sir,—From what I remember from school days about yellow and orange-coloured foods was that vitamin A in the form of carotene was the cause. Why are some eggs paler than others? If my eggs, laid mostly under a matagouri bush or a tussock, are no better than those laid in a wire cage, I may as well stop scratching.—Yours, etc., LITTLE RED HEN. April 16, 1968.
