Big Price For Yearling

Sydney's millionaire Foyster familybig buyers at this year’s national yearling sales at Trantham, paid the top price sa,es wh «n they old *38,000 for an Agricola colt on Thursday. Mr John Foyster and his son, Lloyd, paid $171,000 for 13 youngsters. Mr John Foyster paid $132,800 for eight lots, including the top-priced Agricola—Miss Peck colt. He also bought two other colts for $28,000 and $25 000 and a filly for $25,000. Mr Lloyd Foyster paid $39,000 for five yearlings. The Mentone trainer. W Murrell, paid $21,000 for a chestnut colt by Star Kingdom from Rich and Rare. The colt is a brother to the brilliant mare Citius, which Murrell trained Thursday’s turnover of $815,000 for 174 lots, averaging $4684, was an Australian record for one day’s selling.
