N.Z. INDEX UP 14 p.c.
The Reserve Bank's index of New Zealand shares had risen 13.8 per cent to April 11 since the opening day of this year, reports the bank. The index stood at 1138 points on April 11, which was a fall of nine points on the previous week, the highest level for the year so far. However, the index is well below the record level of 1340 points set on February 11. 1965. The index has 57 companies
