Rugby Meeting Ends In Rush
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The rushed ending to the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union on Thursday was criticised at yesterday’s union council meeting. The rush to arrange fixtures resulting in the meeting closing prematurely was the main criticism, although it was agreed that procedures could be considerably streamlined. The council resolved that the executive prepare various procedures to be adopted for the conduct of the annual meeting.
