MR SHELTON HOME
4| Months In Hospital (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 18. The Minister of Customs (Mr Shelton) will return to Wellington on Monday after spending four months and a half in the Palmerston North Hospital, recovering from injuries suffered in a motor accident. Mr Shelton left hospital today for his home at Marton. He suffered two broken legs in the accident. Recently he has been attending to some of his Government duties from his hospital bed, but most of his work has been looked after by the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Adams-Schneider). A Government spokesman said today it would be some time before Mr Shelton could return to work as a full Cabinet Minister, but he would gradually take on additional work as he recuperated at home.
