Sheep Stolen At Tarras
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 18. Three hundred ewes and 300 lambs have vanished from a Tarras farm. The Dunedin C.LB. and the Cromwell police are investigating. A C. 1.8. officer said the sheep had probably been taken from the area by truck. It was the first sheep stealing in the area for some years, he said. Mr W. R. Patterson, of Bargour, noticed the loss when he had remustered a flock for drafting as fat lambs.
