Course For Anglicans
About 17 young persons will attend a residential course at Tyndale House, Cashmere, this week-end. Held annually by the Christchurch branch of the Church Missionary Society League of Youth, the course enables young Anglicans to examine their own Christian experience within the context of a Christian fellowship. This aim will be expressed in the theme of the meeting, “Christian Life in Depth.” Various aspects will be discussed by the general secretary of the Church Missionary Society (the Rev. H. F. Thomson), the minister of St John’s Church, Woolston (the Rev. L. Pfankuch), and the travelling secretary for the Crusader Movement (Miss J. Montgomery). Mr G. Darlington, of Christ church College, will conduct a Bible study series, “Wit, Humour and Christian Knowledge." » Others speakers will be Mr and Mrs I. Foster, of North Canterbury, who are in New Zealand on furlough from Buhemba, Tanzania, where they are doing agricultural work. The course will be under the guidance of the house parents, Mr and Mrs D. Wardell.
