N.Z. VISIT BY BISHOP
Pastoral Care Of Poles f.N’.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 17. The general secretary of the Vatican's World Synod of Bishops (Bishop Ladislaw Rubin) will arrive in Wellington on Friday for a six-day visit to Polish communities in this country. Bishop Rubin, who is also titular Bishop of Serta and ; auxiliary bishop to Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski, Roman Catholic Primate of Poland, ; will be the first Polish bishop to visit New Zealand. He is coming as a personal , delegate of Cardinal Wyszynski for the pastoral and spiri- ■ tual care of Polish emigrants > and refugees throughout the world. While in New Zealand he will also visit Hamilton and [Auckland.
