(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, April 16. The director of “Voice of America” (Mr J. Daly) said today its radio broadcasts would reach 90 per cent of the world in 1970. Mr Daly has been in Australia for several days, talking to senior radio news executives and technicians. He admitted his organisation was not as skilful in propaganda on the Vietnam war as was the Viet Cong. “But I am not entirely unhappy about this,” he said. “In the long run we will come back on top. The other side deals with propaganda as we deal with Information. Truth will survive. You cannot fool all the people all the time.” “Voice of America” broadcasts for 830 hours a week in 35 languages.
