Spate Of Burglaries

WELLINGTON, April 16. Cash and goods worth more than $4700 were stolen in a rash of thefts and burglaries which broke out in the Wellington district during Easter.
Nearly 20 burglaries of houses, shops and offices have been reported to C. 1.8. offices at Wellington, Lower Hutt and Porirua. Money and goods were stolen in 13 cases. At Petone, thieves broke into the offices of Birdseye
