Safari Won By Peugeot
(N.Z P A .■Reuter^—Copyright) NAIROBI. Two Kenyan drivers. Z. Nowicki and P. Cliff, in a petrol-injection model Peugeot 404, were declared over-all winners of the sixteenth East African safari motor rally. Nowicki and Cliff, who won the safari in a Peugeot 404 in 1963, incurred 686 penalty points. The Australian-born P Huth and I. Grant (Kenya), in a Ford Lotus Cortina, were second with 708 points. Third were two Kenyan farmers, K. Mandeville and S. Allison, in a Triumph 2000.
Italian Wins.-—N. Pietrangell (Italy) won the men's title in the Monte Carlo international tennis tournament for the third time, defeating the Russian No., 1. A. Metrevelli. 6-2. 8-2. I
