D. McLaren Two Wins
D. McLaren (Taieri) was in outstanding form at the South Island District Archery Association’s Easter tournament, held at Burwood Park. He won the men’s target and clout championships. An unofficial New Zealand record w r as set by the Christchurch junior, S. Ferguson, who scored 640 points in the short Ohio. The Aorangi Shield for interdistrict competition was won by the South Island. Wellington was second. Results were: Target Championshps— Men: D.
