‘Good Will Lack’

North Vietnam today accused the United States of lack of good-will in raising difficulties over sites suggested for preliminary talks between the two nations. The official Hanoi daily newspaper, “Nhan Dan,” quoted by the (North) Vietnam News Agency, said the United States was giving “one absurd reason after another" for refusing to accept Hanoi's suggestions. “Nhan Dan" said that in view of President Johnson’s statement that he was prepared to go anywhere to get talks started “the United States refusal to make Phnom Penh or Warsaw the venue for contacts between the two parties stems from its lack of good-will.’’
French Road Toll.—Eightyfive persons were killed in road accidents in France during the three-day Easter holiday. More than 700 people were injured.
