A Visitor’s View Of New Zealand
Sir,—Having just made an extensive tour of the North and South Islands, I was greatly impressed by the wonderful and unusual beauty of your country. You have something to offer the visitor which no other part of the world could. The blue lakes, majestic mountains, clearrunning rivers, beautiful gardens and fountains are all there to wonder at and admire. The tourist could return many times to find something different, wholly beautiful and awe-inspiring. I found New Zealanders courteous, thoughtful, and ever ready to help and please the visitor. I enjoyed my stay in your really lovely country and look forward to returning some day. My sincere appreciation to all those who helped to make my holiday such a happy and memorable one.—Yours, etc., ISABELLA WILSON. Launceston, Tasmania, March 24, 1968.
