The Beagle, Britain’s first major entry into the light, twin-engine, executive aircraft field since the de Havilland Dove, will be seen in New Zealand for the first time this week. - The aircraft will arrive at Auckland tomorrow, it will come to Christchurch from Nelson on Anzac Day and remain herd for two days. In its two weeks in New Zealand the Beagle will be demonstrated to the Royal New Zealand Air Force, Air New Zealand, aero clubs and charter operators. Normally a six-seat to eightseat executive aircraft, the Beagle can be readily converted for use as an air ambulance, for carrying Cargo, or for surveying, mapping and geophysical work.
