HOCKEY COLTS
Four From Canterbury (N.Z. Press Association) DANNEVIRKE. Four Canterbury players have been chosen for the New Zealand colts’ hockey team to tour Australia in May, announced yesterday by the selectors. The team will play eight games on the 14-day tour. The team is: M. Betts (Taranaki, captain), W. Jackson (Waikato, vicecaptain). R. Campbell (Canterbury), R. Horsefield (Hawkes Bay), R. Lyndon (Hawke's Bay). R. McCormack (Otago). R. McHarg (Canterbury). A. Riggs 'Auckland). R. Somerville (Auckland). I. Turbitt (Hawke's Bay), W. Williams (Auckland), T. Bhana (Canterbury), A. Chesney (Canterbury), G. Chester (Auckland).
