Malik Flies To Australia
(N .Z .P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA, April 15. Indonesia’s Foreign Minister (Mr Adam Malik) left Djakarta today for a 10-day visit to Australia and New Zealand. Mr Malik will attend the opening session, on Wednesday, of the United Nations Economic Commission for Asia and the Far East (E.C.A.F.E.) in Canberra, and then proceed to New Zealand for two days on Thursday. He will return to Sydney and Canberra for talks with Australian Government leaders before leaving for home on April 24. Asked at Djakarta Airport if he would discuss any form of defence pact with Australia, Mr Malik said: “No. We have no problems with Australia.” Asked if he would discuss West Irian, he said: “Probably not.” ,
