A Royal Navy spokesman declined to comment today on a London report that the commando carrier Albion was on precautionary standby off ; Singapore. : He said the 23,300-ton vessel, whose location he refused Ito give, would be replaced Iby the assault ship Intrepid lin a forthcoming naval exercise in the South-East Asian [area. No reason was given.
