Parliament Damaged
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 13. Parliament Buildings suffered heavy damage from last week’s gale-force winds and driving rain. Two tall trees in the grounds of the building were felled blown down one blocking the main entrance driveway. Roofing was ripped from the General Assembly library and windows were shattered in score- of offices. Torrential rain found its way through faulty roofing and buckets and sheets of polythene were scattered throughout Parliament Buildings.
