Damp Will Suit Fair Koral

“The Press" Special Service PALMERSTON NORTH. Fair Koral has advanced in favour for the Goodbehere Memorial at Feilding today after heavy rain which fell on Sunday, easing the footing. The mare appeals for the first leg of the T A B. double on the second day of the Feilding Jockey Club’s Easter meeting. Second to Aquarelle last time out. Fair Koral has- done well since. She has always shown her best on easy or soft ground and today she will meet a field most of which would definitely prefer a fast track. Logical rivals for Fair Koral are Game, which was second to Whakamoa on the first day, and Highbrow which is racing consistently. Any drying on the day would help Carlsberg and Wingman. In the second leg, the Denbigh Handicap, few runners are adept at handling easy ground. Bijali is an exception: although her latest form is hardly encouraging, she could be difficult for the others to beat. Class alone, will make Prince Hagen a prospect, and Royal Pursuit should hold the others. The forecast is for improving weather.
