Honey Price To Rise
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 14. The Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Marshall) said this season’s honey crop might be down as much as 20 per cent. He said the Government was determined to see that recent publicity about the fall in the honey crop because of an adverse season did not give rise to “unjustifiable increases” in prices. The maximum increase in retail prices might be 3c a pound, he said. He had asked his department to be ready to reintroduce price control should re tail prices rise above this.
