(NZ. Press Assn.—Copyright) 4 MELBOURNE. Australia defeated New Zealand, 2565 points to 2451, in the field section of an international archery match yesterday. The Dunedin archer, B. Gillan, was the outstanding New Zealander, with 763 points. The Australians also won the target section on Saturday, and the clout championships will be decided today. Scores in the field section were: New Zealand: Mrs L. Arnott (Dunedin), 490; B. Gillan (Dunedin), 763; B. Fraser (Wellington), 613: J. Hinchco (Auckland), 585. Australia: Miss Del Roche 563. H. Wright 754, B. Leech 710, G. Telford 541.
