Another Win For Halwes (Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) SYDNEY. The New Zealand pacer, Great Adios, proved no match for the sensational Halwes in the AllStars Free-for-all at Harold Park on Thursday night. Halwes set a new record for Hi furlongs and won easing up from Cardinal Bruce, with Great Adios 25 yards away third. Halwes ran the distance in 2min 55 3-ssec.

Great Adios, driven by R. P. Norton, led only in the early stages. With about a mile to go Halwes raced to the front and had the race in his keeping from then on.
