Boy Killed By Tractor
(From Our Own Reporter) ASHBURTON, March 21. A 21-months-old boy was fatally injured when he was run over by a tractor in a yard on the Valeria Trust farm, about 20 miles from Ashburton, at 12.20 p.m. today. He was Brent Murray Poyntz, son of Mr and Mrs H. H. Poyntz, a married couple on the farm. The child was attended by a doctor at the scene of the mishap, but was found to be dead. An inquest was opened before the Ashburton coroner (Mr R. G. Sinclair) this afternoon and was adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given.
