Last Meeting.—The Rabbit Destruction Council—established in 1948 to eradicate rabbits and control the spread of opossums and wallabies — met for the last time yesterday to preside over its own dissolution. It will be replaced on April 1 by an Agricultural Pests Destruction Council, which will handle the destruction or control of all agricultural animal pests.
