Fast Time By 15-Year-Old
The exceptional promise which G. Rollo has displayed in athletics this season was again in evidence in the Mairehau High School's first three-mile championship yesterday. In spite of rain. Rollo won the title in 15min 24.35 e exceptional time for a 15-year-old.
G. Donaldson was second, in another good time of 15min 50.1 sec.
Rollo must now start as a strong favourite to win the first inter-secondary schools threemile title on March 30.
