World Food Supply
Sir, —Could not food from over-production be sent to feed hungry peoples, as F. R. Miller suggests instead of being destroyed to keep prices up? Surely no-one could object ’o this superfluous food going to save life instead of continuing to feed the fishes. There would be only the transport to pay. Almost everybody would surely be pleased to contribute. If a fund were started I would gladly give $lO and any practical assistance possible in dispatching the food.—Yours, etc., D. T.
