ROYALISTS REMEMBER KING CHARLES I.—The Rev. H. J. Shillitoe, chairman of the Society of King Charles the Martyr, laying a wreath on the execution site outside the Banqueting House in Whitehall, London, to commemorate the 319th anniversary of the execution. Members of various societies, including the Royal Stuart Society, also gathered at the foot of the equestrian statue of the king in Charing Cross, where prayers were said and wreaths laid.
