Profits of Felt and Textiles of Australia, Ltd, for the halfyear to December 31 showed a 6.3" per cent improvement over the previous corresponding period and more than compensated for the decline in earnings from the devaluation-hit New Zealand subsidiary, directors announced today. Directors said group profit for the December half-year rose) $63,635 to $1,068,798. A steady interim dividend of 5 per cent has been declared.
