Tourists Win.—The international cricket eleven, made up of players from English county clubs, beat Uganda by eight wickets on the third and final day of their match at Kampala. Scores: Uganda 228 and 115, International XI 325 and 22 2.
Champion Wins. —C. Cokes, the American holder of the world welter-weight title, scortu a convincing points victory over the Frenchman, J. Josselin, a former European champion, in a 10-round non-title bout.
Volley Boll.—lnternational volleyball will be played in New Zealand for the first time next week when the New Caledonian representative side, making a short tour to Auckland, will have two matches against a New Zealand Volleyball Association invitation side.
