FIRE AT SCHOOL
Fire caused slight damage to the canteen at the Aranui High School late yesterday afternoon. Headquarters and Woolston brigades were called at 5.27 p.m. The flames were In the ceiling but the firemen soon had the blaze out. It is believed that a stove was left on. A wooden box near the stove was destroyed.
