Price Of Vegetables
Sir,—ln a shop on my way to work I was amazed to see the prices: small bundles of spinach 20c; beans 30c. These were only two items. What a good profit for the middleman! Our city dwellers can overcome these problems. We are very lucky in this lovely city.to have enough ground to grow all the vegetables we needi itistead of spending the week-end to the beer gardens, how about digging up that lawn that was once your vegetable garden? That will enable you to have all the vegetables you need if you are prepared to do a little work. —Yours, etc..
