Because the ordinary shares of New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Ltd, Christchurch, are now ex dividend, there is no longer a distinction between the ordinary and dividend deferred shares. The $3,269,604 of dividend deferred shares, arising from the three-for-five bonus issue in 1965, cease to exist and become merged with the existing ordinary capital.
