Sisters Hurt In Fall
(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, February 5. Two young sisters, aged nine years and two years, were taken to hospital this morning after they tumbled 20ft from an open window in the top floor of their twostorey home in Kahu Road, Panmure.
The elder, Sharon Porter, suffered severe shock and a broken wrist and Ena Porter suffered head injuries. The girls' grandfather, Mr E. Nathan, said the two sisters fell when playing on a windowsill. He said another grandchild, the girls* cousin, fell out the same window about eight years ago when aged two years.
