TELEPHONE TROUBLES.—Mr and Mrs J. Young, of Los Angeles, shown with their telephone, which they padlocked after receiving an account from the telephone company for $4509.81. Their daughter. Collene, and her husband, who was based in Alaska, incurred the charges in 38 days. Mr and Mrs Young were unaware of the calls until they received their account, and they now have to sell their house in Canoga Park to pay off the telephone company’s lien.
