TALKS AFTER T.A.B. THEFT

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 25. Recommendations from the Auckland Clerical Workers’ Union designed to make Totailsator Agency Board offices safer for their staffs are to be discussed with the board. The union has expressed concern about the safety of its members after the armed robbery of the Mission Bay T.A.B. branch on Saturday night. Last night’s meeting of the union’s executive agreed on several recommendations which will be discussed with the board.

The union’s secretary (Mr D. Jacobs) would not say today what the recomemndations were. ‘‘lf we said what they were, it would only make it easier for people to rob these places,” he said.
