TAXATION SCHEME
Woollens To Benefit (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 25. The Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) announced tonight that the taxation incentive scheme for increased exports has been extended to woollen and worsted yarns. The scheme provides for an additional tax deduction for increased export sales over the average export sales for the base period of the first three of the five years preceding the income year. The standard rate of deduction is 20 per cent for the year ended March 31 and, as previously announced, this rate is to be extended for a further year to March 31, 1969.
