Bee Sting Kills Man
(N.Z. Preti association' GISBORNE, January 24. A verdict that a Gisborne man died as a result of a bee sting was returned today by the Gisborne District Coroner Mr L. N. Ritchie, J.P. The man, Robert Peter Naylor, aged 38, visited a doctor one morning in October, complaining of pains in his chest and right arm, said Dr D. J. McVey in evidence. Dr McVey said that Naylor had suddenly collapsed, and was given cardiac massage and intermittent artificial respiration. He was taken to hospital by ambulance and died there about 1.40 p.m. Police inquiries revealed that Naylor had been stung by a bee that day.
